Hye Young kisses Sang Shik before Sang Shik leaves for USA for his new job.
Jae Suk is OK now. He preside the wedding ceremony of Kyung Woo ad Young Mi.
Overall, I like this heart-warming drama. Dr. Wang, Dr. Suh, and Dr. Lee are doctors caring about their patients very much. Especially, Dr. Wang understands his patients’ minds and wishes and tries his best to cooperate with them. (My doctors here are also very nice! ^-^)
I am going to get the DVD set to watch on the big TV screen
especially focus on Jae Suk’s part. Ha Ha ^-^
The TV rating of Episode 16 drops 0.6%!
Nationwide: 10.8, Seoul Area: 10.4% (very disappointing!!)
When this script writer ignores 52% of viewers’ choice of
the couple “Jae Suk - Hye Young”, those viewers abandon this drama.
This script writer advocates “Respecting Life”,
but she should learn how to “Respect the majority of viewers’ opinions”.
In this world, the underlying principle of everything is – “mutual”:
Mutual respects, mutual trusts, mutual supports, and mutual loves.
One-way street goes nowhere!!
Episode 16: If The Destiny Really Exists
Suh Jin and Hye Young talk privately about their baby’s future. Suh Jin wants to put the baby’s name under his family so that their child won’t get hurt due to prejudice in the course of growing up. Hye Young rejects his advice and she wants Suh Jin to leave her and the baby alone. Hye Young tells Suh Jin that both of them abandoned their baby once. It was Sang Shik saved their baby’s life. Suh Jin says that Hye Young could contact him any time if she needs helps for their child.
Jae Suk, Kyung Woo, Tae Jung, Nurse Soo, and Young Mi are talking about Sang Shik’s bad timing of proposal. Hye Young comes to the nurse counter and asks if anyone sees Sang Shik. Jae Suk suggests Hye Young to go to the rooftop. However, Sang Shik has gone home.
At home, Sang Shik receives Yoo Sun’s international phone call and he tells Yoo Sun that he decides to go to USA. Hye Young goes home and sees Sang Shik’s bycicle. She calls Sang Shik to apologize for her delaying their appointment. She asks if Sang Shik wants to have a talk now. Sang Shik answers that they could talk about it later. Kyung Woo comes downstairs and comments that Hye Young and Sang Shik’s roads in life are very different. Asking either one of them to give up their individual goal is painful to each other.
The pregnant woman Kim Hee Jin is sent to the medical center. Later, her brain is dead and her family members agree to donate her 7 organs to save other people’s lives. At the same time, the patient Lee Seung Kyung has been wating for a heart transplant surgery. Before Hee Jin dies, her baby is delivered by Hye Young. After she is dead, her heart is taken out to be transplanted to Seung Kyung. Amazingly, Seung Kyung with the new heart feels her heart-throbbing whenever she is near Hee Jin’s baby! Finally, Seung Kyung decides to adopt this baby.
At the rooftop, Sang Shik tells Hye Young that he decides to leave for USA for his new job. Hye Young encourages Sang Shik to take this meaningful job. Hye Young brings a Latte for Sang Shik and she hopes that they could get along before Sang Shik leaves for USA.
Today is the day that Kyung Woo and Young Mi go to hotel so that Young Mi could get pregnant. They decide to go to drink first before this big event.
Jae Suk and Sang Shik chat in the hall way.
Jae Suk: Are you still angry at Hye Young?
Sang Shik: What do you mean?
Jae Suk: That day, Hye Young went to get something important resolved.
Sang Shik: I think that time is not at my side.
Jae Suk: Do you think that it is so easy to get her married to you? Where is your confidence from? Anyway, you have not been ousted yet.
Sang Shik: I didn’t consider her feelings and I only thought about my urgent situation. My action was inconsiderate. That’s my fault.
Jae Suk: I was the one who encouraged your action. If you really think so, maybe you are right. Problems are caused by actions. Let me ask you one question. I trust your morality. Does Hye Young’s baby make you feel uncomfortable?
Sang Shik: Absolutely not.
Jae Suk: If that’s because of the baby’s problem, let Hye Young handle it by herself. If you don’t even have this kind of trust, then the relationship between you and her had better end now.
Jae Suk catches up with Hye Young in the hall way.
Hye Young: I have done what I have to do. Don’t look at my like that.
Jae Suk: What have you done?
Hye Young: I looked for him first. I explained what happened that day and I apologized to him.
Jae Suk: Then what?
Hye Young: He said that he would leave for USA. He said that he wanted to talk to me about leaving for USA.
Jae Suk: Sigh! That’s why I don’t like those people who don’t have experience of dating each other.
Hye Young: What’s wrong with me?
Jae Suk: He wanted to give you a present that day. Go to talk to him now.
Hye Young: I don’t want to. He didn’t want to give me the present and therefore he didn’t give it to me. Why should I look for him now?
Jae Suk: Then, do you want to regret after he goes to USA? Anyway, that’s your life! Whether you will regret or not, I don’t want to involve anymore. Think thoroughly!
After Seung Kyung decides to adopt the baby, Jae Suk, Hye Young, Kyung Woo, Young Mi, and Nurse Soo chat about this amazing attraction between Seung Kyung and Hee Jin’s baby. Jae Suk comments that they attract each other because of the ‘Destinity’. Kyung Woo gives everyone the wedding invitation card of his and Young Mi’s wedding scheduled next week.
Hye Young goes up to the rooftop to have a fresh air. Sang Shik happenes to be at the rooftop too. Sang Shik puts the diamond ring on Hye Young’s finger. However, Hye Young takes the ring off. Instead, she kisses Sang Shik. Hye Young says that she doesn’t want their relationship be bound by a ring because she likes Sang Shik. Hye Young suggests Sang Shik to put the rings on her fingers again when he comes back from USA next time. If their relationship is not changed at that time, she will accept the ring.
On Kyung Woo’s wedding day held at the medical center, Kyung Woo is still busy in delivering babies. Hye Young takes over so that Kyung Woo could go to the wedding ceremony. This is also Sang Shik’s last day of working at the medical center and is the day he leaves for USA. Jae Suk preside the wedding ceremony.
After Hye Young completes her task, she puts her hand on her stomach and she is glad that she has decided to keep her baby. She recalls once she said, “We don’t know what the baby’s choice is.” Sang Shik says, “No baby wants to be born to cause people agony. Baby exists without wanting people’s cares. Endurance and caring are simply parant’s one-way decisions.' Sang Shik waits for Hye Young outside of the delivery room. They wish each other well in the future. They appear together at the wedding. Sang Shik asks if Jae Suk will preside the wedding for him and Hye Young next time. Jae Suk replies, “We will know who preside the wedding until we get into the wedding hall then.”
At the end of this drama, Jae Suk, Hye Young, Sang Shik, and Kyung Woo all mature in the course of 2 months.
Jae Suk, the playboy, matures as a responsible man positively showing his true love to Hye Young. He won’t look at other women except Hye Young. After he knows Hye Young’s decision, he courageously faces the wound brought to him by Hye Young and he helps Sang Shik and Hye Young to know each other’s true minds. What a real man!!
